Oatmeal rolls

In a large bowl mix:

1 Cup oatmeal
1 Tablespoon Crisco
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 cups boiling water

Let sit until cool. While it is cooling mix:

1/2 Cup of warm water
1 Tablespoon yeast
A pinch of sugar

When the oatmeal mixture is cooked mix in:
1/4 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup molasses
2 Cups whole wheat flour
3 Cups white flour
The yeast and water mixture

Knead dough an let it rise until double in size. Punch down, cut into balls and place on greased pan or cookie sheet. Let the rolls rise again.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
